Through the program, Studio Galilei will be eligible for up to KRW 4 billion in credit guarantee support over the next three years. The selection is especially meaningful as it recognizes the companyโ€™s technological capabilities, innovation, growth potential, and market competitiveness.

With this support, Studio Galilei plans to further advance its AI-powered mobility technology and strengthen the foundation for developing new business models and expanding its presence in both domestic and global markets.

๐Ÿ… Recognized for Strong Growth Potentialย

Pre-ICON is a growth support program operated by KODIT for startups that have been in business for at least two years and no more than ten years. Companies are selected through a comprehensive evaluation of their technology, innovation, growth potential, and competitiveness in the market.

Selected companies receive credit guarantee support for up to three years, along with a range of customized non-financial services for each stage of growth. These include support for overseas expansion, technology and patent consulting, public relations, and networking opportunities.

They are also given priority consideration for Innovation ICON, KODITโ€™s next-generation program for fostering innovative companies.

Studio Galileiโ€™s selection reflects recognition not only of its AI- and big data-powered technology and nationwide experience in operating Demand Responsive Transport (DRT), but also of its long-term growth potential and market competitiveness.

๐Ÿค– Advancing AI-Powered Mobility Technologyย

Studio Galilei operates Demand Responsive Transport services across Korea through TAMOS (Transit Analysis and Mobility Optimization System), its proprietary AI-powered integrated demand-responsive mobility platform.

TAMOS analyzes transportation demand in real time and optimizes vehicle assignments and routes, helping reduce passenger waiting times while improving operational efficiency.

Because every region has different transportation conditions and travel patterns, Studio Galilei has continued to build both technical expertise and real-world experience by designing and operating mobility services tailored to each communityโ€™s actual needs.

The support secured through the Pre-ICON program will be used to further refine TAMOSโ€™s core technology and develop new service models capable of addressing transportation challenges in different regions.

๐ŸšŒย Expanding into a Wider Range of Mobility Servicesย

Studio Galilei is expanding the application of its services beyond public transportation DRT into tourism, shuttle services, and mobility models connected with autonomous driving.

The company is developing services for a variety of environments, from public transportation that supports residentsโ€™ everyday journeys to tourism-focused DRT that improves travel convenience for visitors, shuttle services for employee and institutional transportation, and future mobility models connected with autonomous vehicles.

Studio Galilei will continue closely analyzing local travel demand and transportation conditions to reduce mobility challenges in areas with limited public transportation access and create an environment where more people can travel conveniently.

๐Ÿ˜๏ธ Developing New Models Thatย Connect Mobility and Everyday Lifeย

Studio Galilei recently signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with GS Global to develop new business models combining smart mobility with everyday infrastructure.

The two companies plan to connect Studio Galileiโ€™s AI-powered DRT platform with GS Globalโ€™s capabilities in electric buses and charging infrastructure. Together, they will explore a regional Community Hub model that provides both mobility services and everyday support, including senior care.

The Community Hub is designed to become more than transportation infrastructure. Its goal is to serve as a local center that supports both residentsโ€™ mobility and their everyday lives.

Building on the support provided through Pre-ICON, Studio Galilei plans to further develop these new business models and expand its reach across smart mobility markets in Korea and overseas.

๐ŸŒฑ Turning Technology and Operational Experience into New Growthย

โ€œOur selection for Pre-ICON recognizes the AI- and big data-powered DRT technology, nationwide operational capabilities, and growth potential we have built over the years,โ€ said Kim Hyunmyung, CEO of Studio Galilei. โ€œWith the support secured through the program, we will expand investment in advancing TAMOS and developing new business models while strengthening our competitiveness in mobility markets at home and abroad.โ€

Studio Galilei will use this selection as a foundation for its next stage of growth, further improving its technology and services while creating a wider range of mobility models that provide practical solutions to local transportation challenges.

We hope you will continue following Studio Galileiโ€™s journey as we work to make convenient mobility part of a better everyday life.
